Jesus makes it clear, that to love our neighbour, it is not enough just to be nice to our friends, those who care for us and from whom we can expect the same reaction in return.
We are called to care for all people: those who are excluded, those we find difficult and those who are different from us.
Why? Because we are all children of God.
Activity
Think about how you can reach out to someone today. Why not write a letter, an email or a postcard to someone you haven’t talked to for a while, asking how they are getting on?
We can also reach out to our sisters and brothers around the world in prayer or in fundraising.
