During these challenging times, your donation to our Lent Appeal is needed as much as ever.
We are all rightly anxious about our own situations – but imagine how it will feel for our sisters and brothers who live in countries without the infrastructure that we have here.
Supporting local experts like Sister Consilia
Sister Consilia is just one of many local experts who work tirelessly throughout the year to save people’s lives. She has spent years studying, training and working long hours to become who she is today. A brilliant, life-saving pharmacist.
“Through treating and caring for the mothers and babies, I try to show them the love that Christ gave to us.”
She works at the Mission Hospital in Gokwe, Zimbabwe helping some of the poorest people in the area. Six days a week, most weeks of the year, she treats sick people, pregnant mothers and babies. She does this because of the love she has for the people who come to her.
A gift at Lent, in the hands of a local expert like Sister Consilia, means deep, long-term change.
You can help by supporting our Lent appeal and enabling us to reach out to more families and communities in desperate need of help.
Will you help more people transform their lives?
The dedicated professionals we work with tell us that they wouldn’t be able to do their lifesaving work without you. It’s that simple. Please keep our local experts and the communities we work with in your thoughts and prayers, especially in these difficult times.
