How to take action for the climate in school
1) Get clued up
Watch our animation below, and use our assemblies and resources to find out what net zero means and why we are calling on the Government to commit to net zero emissions.
2) Invite a CAFOD speaker in to your school
Our team of school visitors are ready to visit your school to deliver an assembly or workshop about climate change. Book yours and help your pupils to understand how we are facing a climate crisis.
3) Be a hero for zero!
We want to celebrate the fact that children and young people care about the planet. Show your commitment by gathering in a zero shape and taking a photo. Send it to use and tell us you have taken part.
4) Ask your MP to be a Zero Hero too
Tell your MP why you care about climate change. Download our guide for speaking to your MP, and visit theyworkforyou.com to find out who your MP is, and invite them to visit your school or group.
5) Join our mass lobby
On Wednesday 26 June we're inviting secondary school groups to join us outside Parliament to speak to our politicians and make our voices heard. Book your place
