More than 2,100 people have been killed and thousands of homes have been destroyed after a 7.5 magnitude earthquake, which triggered a tsunami, struck Central Sulawesi Province, Indonesia, on Friday 28 September. Our Caritas aid workers are already on the ground responding to communities in need.

The people of the Philippines have experienced the full effects of ‘super-typhoon’ Mangkhut, which left at least 65 people dead and more than 40 trapped in a landslide. Our local aid agency, NASSA, are already on the ground coordinating the humanitarian response.
