Children swap their toys and books to raise money for CAFOD.

Children's bring and buy sale for CAFOD.

Do something great this summer! We’ve pulled together some fun ideas to keep your children entertained during the holidays. Our A-Z of fundraising guide is a great please to start. It’s packed with summery ideas such as ice cream socials and picnics.

Our top summer activities for kids

Here are our favourite ideas for keeping your children entertained by getting involved with CAFOD:

Bring and buy sale

Have a toy clear out and do some good in the process. Hold it in your parish, invite others to bring and buy too. We’ve got a bake sale guide and some global recipes for food around the world if you're feeling adventurous.

Take a walk for refugees

This summer we’re walking around the world in support of refugees. Why not organise a family walk in solidarity? Order these free children’s cards with stories about refugees and add your miles to our totaliser.

Visit our Kidz Zone pages

We’ve revamped the children’s pages on our website. They are now full of films, quizzes, games and prayers to help your children learn about the world this summer. Visit Kidz Zone

Run a mini World Cup tournament

We’ve got a simple guide to organising a mini football tournament this summer! Invite friends and family and ask people to pay to play.

Let us know which is your favourite idea and share photos of your events with us on Twitter
