Eucharist in the world

From 7-9 September 2018, Adoremus, the National Eucharistic Pilgrimage and Congress will be taking place in Liverpool.

Adoremus, 7-9 September

The aim of the Congress is to promote an awareness of the central place of the Eucharist in the life and mission of the Church.

Inspired by the Congress, we have created a series of workshops to explore the links between the celebration of the Eucharist in the Mass and the call for us, as Christians, to live out love, compassion and justice in our everyday lives.

If you are unable to attend the Congress itself, these workshops are a great way to get your parish, community or group involved.

Eucharist workshops

There are five workshops, each on a different theme, linking with a different part of the Mass.

1. Reconciliation and peace-building (Pentitential Act)

2. Celebrating the relationship between creation and humanity (Preparation of the Gifts)

3. Our common union and being in solidarity (Eucharistic Prayer)

4. A kingdom of welcome and hospitality (Our Father)

5. Being the body of Christ in the world (Dismissal)

Feel free to use and adapt these resources to suit your parish or group and join us in reflecting on the Eucharist, before, during or after the Eucharistic Congress.
