It is nearly evening and the day is almost over.
Our work is finished and our meal is ready.
We ask you, God, to bless our food -
the variety, the aromas and the tastes we are about to savour.
Let us share our feast and this time of enjoyment
with the guest and the stranger,
who come unexpectedly in your name, Amen.
