Update on COVID-19

A big thank you for supporting the Coronavirus Appeal and also our Unite against coronavirus petition. This month we are encouraging you to support us with the following.

Faith into Action: Building a better world after the pandemic

Cancel the debt campaigners outside parliamant

Cancel the debt campaigners outside parliamant

Thank you for signing our petition. We handed it to the government. Other organisations have been speaking about this too and together we have almost a million signatures.

Listen Here to our local experts from Caritas Zambia who spoke about why, in light of COVID-19, it is more important than ever to cancel debt.

Reach out with love this Advent

When we think of how we can respond to so much suffering in the world, many of us are guided by a simple phrase: Give, act, pray. This Advent, as we reflect on the unimaginable situations faced by our sisters and brothers around the world, each of us can respond and, in your role as a CAFOD volunteer, perhaps encourage others to do the same.

Our alternative gifts for Christmas mean that nothing is wasted, and no one receives a gift they don’t really need. Read how it works and see the gifts

Around the world, people are fighting to defend their land or communities. Could you spare a few minutes this Advent to send a message of support to someone who risks everything to protect others? Send a Christmas message to the brave

We have many opportunities for prayer and reflection online this Advent.
