Good news! We have reached our goal of walking 24,900 miles for the Share the Journey campaign!

We will share this amazing feat with our government asking them to step up and protect the rights of refugees and migrants.

But the journey isn’t over. Could you help us make it a second time around the world? Organise or take part in a Share the Journey walk

Finding a new Director for CAFOD

Nepal, Chris Bain, CAFOD, earthquake, charity, humanitarian, emergency, relief, aid agency

CAFOD Director Chris Bain speaking to Kamala and her daughter, Asmita. Kamala lost her son, two daughters and her mother when a devastating earthquake hit Nepal in 2015.

Bishop John Arnold, Chair of CAFOD’s Board of Trustees, has issued a statement for CAFOD staff and volunteers:

‘As most of you will know, we the Trustees have begun the process of finding a new director for CAFOD, following Chris Bain’s decision to retire at the end of this year.  We intend to seek applications over the summer period, with a shortlist being drawn up in September. We then hope to be in a position to make an appointment by early autumn.

The job description and supporting information pack will be available on CAFOD’s website during July 2018.’ We ask that you keep CAFOD in your prayers as we undertake such an important recruitment process.
