Family Fast Day
Lent Family Fast Day this year is Friday 6 March 2020. If you haven't received your Fast Day pack please get in touch with your local CPC. All the Lent Fast Day resources are also available on the Family Fast Day page.
If you are unable to make it to a planning meeting, you can watch this 16-minute video to help you prepare for Fast Day. Our Director of Operations, Geoff O’Donoghue, has also recorded a video message for you, about his experiences of working with local experts in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
Trial contactless in your parish
We’d like to trial contactless machines for Lent Family Fast Day collections. Our contactless machines have proved popular in some trial parishes so far. They work in the same way as in shops and are ideal for mass-goers who don’t carry cash or forget to bring their envelopes back. They are used alongside envelopes as usual.
If you are interested trying one out in your parish, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and tell us the name and address of your parish and which weekend you would like to use it – 29 February/1 March or 7/8 March. We will have them sent to and collected from your parish by courier.
