We had to celebrate and be happy, because your brother was dead, but now he is alive; he was lost, but now he has been found.

Luke 15:32

Today’s scripture tells the story of the Prodigal Son. In it, we hear how a father forgives his son who has gone away and come back, even though he had done wrong.

Think about the meaning of the story. Who does the father represent? What about the son who went away, and came back? What can we learn from this parable?

Activity

Why not retell the story in your own words? You could decorate and turn it into a graphic story.
