In Jesus’ day, it was usual for sons to take up their fathers’ work. They would learn this trade – be it carpentry, fishing, or another job – by watching and imitating their father. Jesus, the Son, is the same. He sees his heavenly Father’s actions and joins his work.
How can we too join God’s work of healing and justice in our world?
