This Lent you can use CAFOD's Will service to write or update your Will for free. By including a gift in your plans, you can share your hope with our global family this Jubilee Year.

Did you know gifts in Wills fund a third of our long-term support to help people out of poverty?

Without them, we’d have to turn down one in three requests for help. Gifts in Wills make sure more families like Lokho's can overcome challenges, build resilience, and plant the seeds of hope for generations to come.

This Jubilee year we invite people to experience the joy and strength of coming together as we respond to God’s call for a reset, a renewal of faith, and a recommitment to a just world. Make your Will for free from the comfort of your home

We’ve partnered with expert estate planners Octopus Legacy so you can write or update your Will for free. Their service is quick and easy to use, and because it's online you don't have to travel or wait for a face-to-face appointment.

The step-by-step process is approved by solicitors, and if you have any questions along the way, Octopus Legacy's team of professionals is on hand to help. This service is suitable for people who already have a firm idea of what they plan to include in their Will, and do not need a lot of professional advice.

How it works

  1. Visit the Octopus Legacy website to get started.

  2. Start the process by answering some simple questions to check the service is right for you.

  3. Begin making your Will through a step-by-step process approved by solicitors.

  4. Once your Will is finished, you must print a copy and have it signed and witnessed for the Will to be valid.

When you come to make your Will, we hope you'll consider CAFOD's life-changing work with families around the world, but there is no obligation to include a gift to CAFOD in your Will.
