From #metoo to anti-fracking direct action, campaigning takes a bewildering range of forms, and addresses every issue that matters. But where to start?

Spend a day with CAFOD’s campaigners to develop the skills you need to make an impact. Learn some tricks of the trade and meet others who can support you.

Already got an idea you want to develop? Our team can help you plan and produce a great campaign.

Once you’ve spent time with us, we’ll introduce you to CAFOD’s campaigning and see where your enthusiasm might support some of the world’s poorest people.

CAFOD’s origins lie in the Catholic community’s desire and determination to reach out and help overseas communities.

Since Lent 1960 Catholic individuals, parishes, schools and community groups have embraced CAFOD’s work as a way to put their faith in action; raising vital funds to help their brothers and sisters in need.

Now, in 2018, we fundraise in many ways, and at one of our masterclasses you’ll learn about what inspires people to give and how we prepare an appeal.

You’ll get top tips for fundraising and key skills like how to deliver a successful fundraising event.

Communication in the modern age is more important than ever. The news we share online and locally can reach a limitless audience.

This session will show how easy it is to speak to these audiences and galvanise their potential for good. Learn how CAFOD's communication team responds to an emergency - sharing breaking news and helping people to act. Develop the skills to write attention-grabbing press releases and viral-worthy social media posts.

As your knowledge grows, so will the power of your voice - and your ability to help communities across the world through amplifying their stories.
