This year, the Virtual Christmas Fun Run will be fundraising to help families in Ukraine who have been hit by the humanitarian crisis caused by war.
In Ukraine, 6 million people have had to flee their homes and need our continued support. These families, who have gone through so much, are now threatened by a freezing winter without means of heating or cooking food.
Together, we can make a difference. Join in with the Virtual Christmas Fun Run and start fundraising today to help Ukrainian families cook and stay warm this winter.
Easy! Tickets go on sale soon - you can reserve your spot now and be the first to know when they're available.
By signing up in advance, you guarantee your spot for the event and can start fundraising straight away.
It costs £5 to enter the Virtual Christmas Fun Run. You can also top up your ticket price with a donation and gain sponsorship.
It's not mandatory to fundraise. However, we would be so grateful if you were able to gain sponsorship for taking part in the fun run, no matter how big or small.
The ticket price covers the running costs of the event, but the sponsorship you gain will help us to support the communities we serve even further.
You will be set up automatically with a fundraising page when you sign up. You can also download a sponsorship form to collect cash donations.
If you'd prefer not to fundraise, you can also make a donation when you sign up online, or on the day of the event.
You can collect sponsorship using your fundraising page you will have automatically been set up with when registering online. Share your fundraising page with friends, family and your parish asking for donations.
If you would like to collect sponsorship offline, please use the CAFOD sponsorship form. This form ensures that we treat data correctly and allows people to opt in or out of further communications from CAFOD. We are unable to claim Gift Aid if the correct forms are not used.
The simplest way to send your fundraising into CAFOD is to first pay your cash donations into your own bank account.
You can then pay in your fundraising via our website or you can call our brilliant Supporter Care team on 0303 303 3030 to pay over the phone using a debit or credit card.
You can also send us your payment through the post by making a cheque or postal order out to CAFOD and posting it to: CAFOD, Romero House, 55 Westminster Bridge Road, London, SE1 7JB.
Remember to send us your sponsorship form, collection envelopes or Gift Aid declaration slips so that we can claim any applicable Gift Aid as well.
Please don’t send us cash through the post! We want to make sure all of your donations go to our projects overseas and cash sent in this way too often gets lost.
