Summer of Hope!

This summer, support CAFOD with your very own Summer of Hope fundraiser!

You can add a CAFOD fundraiser to your existing summer events or set up a new event in your parish or at home. How about a fundraiser around one of the sporting events this summer like the Euros, Wimbledon or the Olympics! Whatever you do will support our work with communities facing enormous challenges around the world.

How can I get involved

There are plenty of ways you can get involved in this Summer of Hope. You could:

Add a CAFOD stall or activity to your existing summer event, like your parish fete or at coffee after Mass. This could be a raffle, a chocolate tombola or taking donations at a display table about CAFOD's work.
Set up your own Summer of Hope event. There are loads of ideas on our A-Z of fundraising ideas! From bake sales to garden parties, to afternoon teas to BBQs. Gather your friends, family and community for some fun in the sun, while raising money for our communities around the world.
Take on a sporty challenge this Summer of Hope! Perhaps you're feeling inspired by the sporting events this summer, like Wimbledon, the Olympics and Paralympics, or the Euros, and fancy organising your own tournament? Or, take on your own personal challenge, like running or cycling a certain distance, going for a cold-water dip or doing yoga everyday. Make sure you get sponsored for your chosen activity!
Set up your JustGiving page and start collecting sponsors. Share your fundraising page on social media, email and with your parish.
Hold your Summer of Hope fundraiser with your family, school, community or parish.

Your donations will come to us automatically through JustGiving, or you can pay in the money you raise via our website. You can also download a sponsorship form.
