Over 400,000 people are trapped in besieged neighbourhoods in Eastern Ghouta. CAFOD expresses its outrage over intensified fighting in Syria and supports calls for a ceasefire so that civilians can be reached. 

Rohingya Crisis: aid reaches refugees in Bangladesh

More than 680,000 people are estimated to have fled to Bangladesh, escaping violence in Myanmar. CAFOD's partner, Caritas Bangladesh, is responding to the Rohingya crisis.
