CAFOD

This Advent, we invite you to ‘Make and Create’ and raise vital funds for CAFOD. Get involved and help to build a world without hunger.

Have fun this festive season, while you make or create something wonderful. Whether that’s your favourite food, craft, or other artistic endeavours, you’ll be raising money to help our sisters and brothers around the world.

Here are some ideas:

  • Bake some yummy festive treats and sell them in your local community or parish.

  • Knit or stitch some fun toys or pieces of clothing to give as gifts.

  • Get crafty and make some badges, fridge magnets or other knickknacks which you can then sell. These will go really well at a Christmas Fair!

  • Create some original artwork and sell it to your friends and family.

  • Anything else you can think of to make, create, and sell to raise funds for people facing extreme hunger. Just think fun and festive!

Remember that when you are selling your creations, that you can invite donations in cash, cheque, on a sponsorship form, to a JustGiving page or via contactless. You can also use the Harvest envelopes or the website. Whatever you do, remember to take some pictures or video and send it to us at events@cafod.org.uk.

If you'd like to advertise your event, please download a poster here, where you can let people know when and where you event will be
