Now that Easter has been and gone and we’ve had time to reflect on the season of Lent, we want to take a moment to say a heartfelt thank you to every single person who laced up their shoes and joined us for this year’s Big Lent Walk.
Whether you walked solo, with your parish, your school, or a group of friends, your steps have made a real difference. Every kilometre you walked helped raise awareness and vital funds to help provide life-saving water to communities around the world.
You all came together in a beautiful show of solidarity this Lent:
🌍 800 individuals
⛪ over 100 parishes
🏫 over 750 schools
Together, we raised an incredible £300,000 and counting!
We’ve been inspired by the creativity, energy and commitment of our CAFOD community – from parish pilgrimages to thousands of steps taken in towns and cities across England and Wales, to schoolchildren lapping their playgrounds in support of a better world!
