Church leaders in Liverpool are inviting people to join them for a Walk of Witness as part of the recently launched Time to Act campaign.
On Sunday 27 September, as the Labour Party conference opens, a Walk of Witness will begin from Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral, led by Bishops Ruth Worsley and Tom Neylon. The walk finishes at Liverpool Cathedral where there will be a panel discussion.
3pm Choral evening prayer at Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral (Mount Pleasant, Liverpool, L3 5TQ)
4pm (post-evening prayer) Walk of Witness along Hope Street led by Bishops Ruth Worsley and Bishop Tom Neylon
4.45pm Panel presentation on Time to Act in the Lady Chapel of Liverpool Cathedral (St James' Mount, Liverpool L1 7AZ)

Just Peace Coalition representatives
Organised by the Just Peace Coalition, the Time to Act campaign is a growing, UK-wide ecumenical movement.
United in the belief that a just peace in Israel and the occupied Palestinian territory is possible, the initiative is mobilising church communities to amplify the voices of Palestinian Christians and pressure the UK government for stronger action towards a sustainable and just peace for all those who call the Holy Land home.
