Christmas Fun Run 2021

CAFOD's Christmas Fun Run is happening again this year on Monday 27 December. Join hundreds of people around the country who will be running, walking and toddling 5km to support our work!

How to take part

This year there will be virtual and 'in person' fun runs for you to enjoy. The 'in person' events in Liverpool and Bollington are 5km, but the virtual event can be any distance you like (although 5k is a great distance!).

Whatever you do, remember it's the taking part that counts and you'll be raising vital funds for CAFOD.

Whether you fundraise or make a donation, you'll be supporting people like Nomita from Bangladesh to live with dignity, despite the daily challenges she faces though poverty and the climate crisis.

Some ideas to make your Fun Run even more special

• Run with other people - maybe you could meet in your parish?
• Spread the word about the fun run on social media.
• Remember to share your fundraising page. If you raise £100 you'll receive a CAFOD running vest!
• Take some photos of you joining in the fun, and don't forget snaps of your pets and those in prams and fancy dress - it is a fun run after all! Please share your photos on social media tagging @CAFOD #CAFODFunRun, or send them to events@cafod.org.uk.
