Sing, choirs of angels!
Hold your own carol service in your parish or gather a group to sing outside your local supermarket or train station. You need a core person or group who can carry the singing, and then recruit more to come and join in the fun.
Invite your church, friends, or local groups to come and sing - the myrrh the merrier! Download our carol sheet and print enough copies – you can reuse them next year too.
Make sure you remember to get permission from your parish priest (for a carol service), or the landowner and your local council (for caroling in the community).
Why not continue the festivities by offering mince pies, hot drinks or mulled wine after your carols? Download our mince pies toolkit for the perfect finale after all your singing exertions!
Serve mince pies, mulled wine, hot chocolate or any other festive treats to your parish or community. You could combine this with your carol service, after mass, or as part of a Christmas-themed event like a quiz or bake sale. Eat, drink and be merry!
