Today we pray for the grace to plant seeds of justice, peace and hope for all creation.

Reflection
In a world ravaged by violence and conflict we pray for lasting peace, where all people may live in safety, free from fear. Inspired by those who work for peace each day, may we also stand up and make our voices heard as we cry out for an end to the destruction of lives, livelihoods and the earth.

Creator God,
we give you thanks
for those who work for peace
and dignity for all your children.
Heal our hearts of anger and bitterness, Lord,
and lead us to follow the example of St Francis,
as we seek to build a better world
and sing a song of praise for all creation.
St Francis, pray for us.
