Compassionate God,
you journey with us in all that we do
already present in all the people that we meet
and at work in the good they and we choose to do.
Bless the people of [insert country here].

to bringing hope to those in despair,
food to those who are hungry,
water to those who thirst,
wisdom to those who desire the truth
and justice to those who are oppressed.
Grant that we may share these tasks
