About your Community Participation Coordinator in South Wales
Your CAFOD representative would love to chat about how you can get involved, and will work hard to find the right volunteer role for your skills and time.
I have been working as a Community Participation Coordinator (CPC for short!) for CAFOD for 7 years but before that I supported CAFOD as an Education volunteer and a parish volunteer.
My role covers the Archdiocese of Cardiff and the Diocese of Menevia in Wales, working with a network of wonderful volunteers and dedicated supporters in our local Catholic parishes, schools and groups.
We draw inspiration from Scripture and Catholic Social Teaching to promote integral human development and social justice in witness to our Christian faith and Gospel values.
What’s wonderful at CAFOD is that we work in partnership to foster mutual learning and trust between the poorest and most marginalised of our brothers and sisters overseas and our local supporters here in England and Wales.
It’s a privilege to work with the Catholic community to respond to the call to put our faith into action for the common good.
If you would like to offer some of your precious time and energy, we would absolutely love to hear from you.
